My name is Taja Johnson (she/her/hers), and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). I hold a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Music from Shaw University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from North Carolina Central University.

As a therapist, I partner with clients to help them build the skills, insight, and confidence needed to become the best version of themselves. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families across diverse religious and cultural backgrounds, offering a safe, eclectic, and non‑judgmental space for healing and growth. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, life transitions, and interpersonal relationships.

My therapeutic style is person‑centered and strength‑based, integrating trauma‑focused and solution‑focused approaches. I draw from various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring each session to the unique needs and goals of every client. My mission is to support individuals as they heal from past wounds, break unhelpful patterns, and reconnect with their authentic selves. At the heart of my work, I aim to empower clients to cultivate resilience and move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

If you’re seeking a supportive collaborator to help with direction, self‑understanding, and overcoming self‑doubt, I would be privileged to work with you. I currently offer both telehealth and in‑person sessions in Raleigh. I am in network with: Aetna and Cigna, and will soon be able to accept Blue Cross Blue Shield.
